Trivandrum: Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV) has announced the opening of an all-new luxurious lounge facility. Called ‘The Bird’, the lounge endeavours to elevate the comfort of passengers and ensure a seamless experience at the airport. The lounge is located at level 1 of the international terminal, near gate number 5.
According to a press release from Adani Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd., the lounge has stylish interiors which accentuate height, light and space, and is a beautiful addition to the airport that would certainly please travellers. It promises a class-apart, rejuvenating, and luxurious experience for travellers. The lounge will offer a personalized service experience to the guests with great attention to detail in every aspect of hospitality.
The lounge is open 24/7 and offers services including seamless WiFi connectivity, business centre, flight information display system, special magazines, on-screen entertainment etc. Live counters and buffet for South, North Indian and continental cuisine will be another attraction of the lounge. The lounge covers an area of 276 sq m and offers seating for 68 guests.
With the opening of the lounge, the passenger experience of international fliers is set to soar to newer heights. Guests can find their preferred form of relaxation among the premium services and can have a pleasant time waiting at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, the release added.
The Adani Group formally took charge of the operations and management of the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport four months back, on October 15, 2021. Adani Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd (ATIAL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd, will operate, manage and develop the airport for a period of 50 years under a concession agreement signed with the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
